Ashley is playing basketball for the first time this year. She is loving every minute! Her team tied this week 12-12. She chose #13 because it is her Mema Abbey's lucky number.

60 YEARS!

This post is dedicated to my Grandma and Grandpa Porter who recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. 60 years is a wonderful achievement that not many reach! I am honored to be their grandchild and I hope that my marriage will continue to grow through the years as theirs has. I was fortunate to be with them for this grand celebration! My brother and I flew to Florida for a long weekend and the rest are memories that will last a lifetime.

For those of you that don't know, I spent a year living with them when I was in college. That was the hardest and best year of my life! I was able to get to know my Grandparents on a different level during that year. That is something that will stay in my heart always. I love you both very much!
